Brass, copper or nickel silver: choosing your material
For a craft or decorative project in Morocco, start with appearance, fabrication requirements and the shape of the finished piece. Compare these points before requesting a quote.

Three distinct materials
Copper has a reddish-orange appearance. Brass is a family of copper-zinc alloys, typically golden yellow. Nickel silver is a copper-nickel-zinc alloy with a silvery appearance; its name does not mean it contains silver. A photograph cannot establish the exact grade: ask for it when your process requires one.
Start with the finished part
Consider sheet or a disc for a flat-cut part, and a roll for a long strip. Wire and profiles are different formats: specify the cross-section and provide a sketch where useful. Colour alone cannot establish suitability for forming, joining or a technical application.
Formats in the SONATAB catalogue
Brass is shown as discs, sheets, rolls and wire; copper as sheets, rolls and discs; nickel silver as rolls, fine coiled wire and discs. Each family page provides the published dimensional ranges. These are not a live stock guarantee.
Prepare an actionable enquiry
Specify material, format, thickness, dimensions, quantity and unit, desired finish and city. Include fabrication constraints. For electrical, food-contact or other applications with particular requirements, confirm the grade and required documentation before purchase.
